Welcome to Southtown
Friday,
June 6 is First Friday
Everyone knows Southtown is the place to be on First
Friday, but did you know there is always something
happening here?
Southtown First Friday ArtWalk Vendor Requirements:
We appreciate your interest in wanting to participate as a vendor at the Southtown First Friday ArtWalk but we have city regulations that must be followed. This event is an Artwalk which is for promoting original art by local artists and craft persons from San Antonio. The City of San Antonio requires that all vendors have a vendor’s permit (One Year Permit - $180.00) which you may apply for at the Police Dept located at 214 Nueva Street Rm.123. All applicants by city ordinance are required to go through a criminal check prior to being allowed to apply for a vendors permit. ALL VENDOR’S MUST HAVE A PERMIT ISSUED BY THE CITY. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Upon receiving your permit you may make arrangement with property owners participating in the Southtown First Friday ArtWalk. The Art Walk brings a valuable opportunity for local artists, whose work will receive immense exposure and the public, who will discover the art making process they would not typically see anywhere else. We ask all vendors that you respect your merchant partner and the hours of this event which are 6pm – 10pm. Again thanks for your interest and for helping us make this event an enjoyable family event. Should you have any further questions please call the Southtown Office at 210-226-0888.
